    Hey there Bobcherrie. Did you remove the thin plastic protector cover before installing the heavier chrome one shown in this thread, and if so how and what did you use to remove it? Anyone else remove the thin, clear protective label from their rear bumper ledge? How?

    This question is for anyone who once had the thin, clear protective coating on their bumper and has since removed it. How did you do it, and how did the bumper look afterwards? I'd like to switch to the chrome protector but it doesn't appear to reach over the curve of the edge as far so I am wondering if a sticky residue will remain and will be hard to get off without damaging the finish before installing the new chrome plate.
