Will CT200h prices go Up/Down by end of the Year?

I should be getting my CT by April 25th and I'll be paying full sticker, minus miles the dealer put on it using it as a demo. Where do you think prices will be on a new CT200 in the fall? How about the 2012 model..do you think they'll add a few things and up the price since the 11's had such a great following? I'm just worried people will be buying them by the end of the year for $2k under sticker if/when gas goes down and inventory levels are normal.

Someone make me feel better for paying full price on a new car

You won't be paying $2k under sticker anytime soon.

Headlines in Wall Street Journal today - Lexus falls behind BMW and Mercedes in luxury car sales this year due to lack of vehicles.

Lexus only plans 10 days of production in May !!!!!!

Premium Fire Agate Pearl / Caramel / Bamboo Dash Trim / Shark Fin Antenna / Illuminated Sills / F - Stainless Sport Pedals / Painted Calipers / HID Slim Ballast Kit - 55 watt 4500 k / White Fogs / LED Interior Lighting

I think the 2012 will have more standard features to the base level, and enhancements to the packages for sure. Xeon headlights are surprising not an option at all and I think they will be, hopefully adaptive.

I hope the short antenna is ditched too for a modern aerial. If Lexus wants to compete more closely with the A3, they should bring a bit more to the table IMO.

I doubt anyone will get 2K off the sticker anytime soon for the CT200h. With Toyota slashing production by 50% due to the earthquake the vehicle supply will be tight. If you bet gas is returning to below $3.00 I am thinking it has a greater chance of going higher towards $5.00.
Still the CT200h is an expensive hybrid if you compare it to a Prius or Civic hybrid. You get a much better appointed car with the CT200h.
I was able to get 1K off the sticker thanks to a Lexus "thank you" coupon from my local auto show from January.
I have yet to see another one on the road in my area and I have had the car for a month.
Don't feet ripped off by paying the sticker. I am not hearing of any "deals" by any Lexus dealer. Gas would have to go back to $1.85 to cause price discounts on the fuel efficient vehicles and this for all practicality is almost impossible.
The era of cheap energy is over and it is not coming back.

My northern NJ dealer just told me yesterday that they expect a price increase of 1.7% on subsequent allocations of CT's, as early as the batch arriving this week.
