    Just installed side moldings

    Hello everyone, very easy to do.
    Took maybe 1/2 hour. Very happy with the results:

    Nice job. I've seen others put these on too. Are you doing it for looks or to protect your doors from dings from others?

    Mainly for protection against people that are so blind, they can't see a car 2 feet beside

    Sorry, but I think they take away from the 'style' of the side of the car. Personally don't like them, escpecially if you put the lower door mouldings on, it might be way too busy of a look.

    After seeing some scratches done by people opening their doors on my car, I decided to install those. I prefer this over scratches.

    I have a 18 year old Volvo and installed some side molding when new and am amazed how much protection it gives, almost no door dings except 1 upper door ding due to probably SUV.
