    $ below MSRP

    What's a reasonable $ amount below MSRP you should expect for a 2011 model?

    First of all, MSRP is not the number you want to work from... The Invoice price is where the dealing starts from.
    Check out Truecar.com. A very good website that shows dealer invoice price, any Lexus dealership buy back discounts paid by Lexus to the dealership and also shows recent purchase prices for the vehicle, make, model and accessories your interested.
    The website will even give you a bottom line price along with local dealerships that will match it. Hope this helps and happy hunting

    You should be able to buy a 2011 at invoice or maybe a little below. They will make the holdback and some other incentives.

    If they won't play, then get a 2012, even if you may MSRP you won't be paying that much over invoice and you will save yourself a years depreciatioin. As you can see from Edmunds the markup on these cars is not that much.

    Seriously!? I find that hard to believe as there still aren't many on the road and it seems that it's still taking a while for these to hit the lots. Where did you base this from? You could be right, but just seems too good to be true given the car has still only been available for 9 months.

    I was able to get a 2011 with 1000$ off the MSRP, but I tripped while negociating and I could have gotten more. Maybe an extra like tinted windows for free or maybe even 500$.

    If you're not picky or they got your color in stock with your options, you could even get more since the 2012 are there now Good luck!

    I was quoted invoice about a month ago on any 2011 CT in stock. The salesman said the manager would be satisfied with the holdback and any bonuses for sales quotas that they met plus they have all those bogus dealer costs. I bought a 2012 instead and didn't pay MSRP for that either, although I probably would have since I was seeking a new F-Sport.

    No kidding. What is the dealer invoice on a 2011 Premium, $28K or $29K?

    If you want economy, the new 2011 Prius in Houston are being advertised at $4,000 off MSRP. There is still a high demand for CT200hs here, even the 2011s and therefore basic economics 101, high demand = low discounts.

    I have no idea but if you look in Edmunds they show the MSRP, the Invoice and the cost and MSRP for any of the options and/or packages. I am too lazy to look it up now that I have a car. There is a very little markup on the CT's. Far less than other Lexus models.
