    First Lexus!

Hey guys, found this forum after purchasing my new CT. So far I'm loving the car! I purchased the premium model with the nav/audio package, obsidian exterior/caramal interior. First new car purchase and I heard a lot of great things about Lexus service so I thought this was a nice car to get into the brand. Test drove it from NY to Philly over the weekend and averaged 46.1 mpg! Can't wait to share tips and experiences w/ everyone.

This was also my first Lexus, or any "premium" brand vehicle for that matter. I was blown away by the dealership experience and that went a long way in terms of my decision.

    Congrats on your new CT!

Thanks guys! I've found their service excellent even before purchasing the vehicle. The dealer drove the car 80 miles to my workplace because I could not make it to them because of work. I'm hoping the level of service will stay this way after the purchase!

From my experience, the service only gets better from there. When I have to bring in the vehicle for check-ups or when they install winter/summer tires, they always give a Lexus loaner for the day (interesting because you get to see how other vehicles drive such as HS250h) and this is something the Audi/BMW dealers didn't offer (only a ride to where I needed to be that day). Plus, this may not be the case for all dealers, they offer free car washes on Saturdays, and they clean the inside and outside to perfection.

Congrats on your CT. I am also a first-time Lexus owner (since I bought the CT last July.) I was looking at the Prius, but the Toyota dealers were such complete jerks, I looked at the CT. I was (and still am) blown away by the folks at Lexus. I also ADORE my CT. After about 7,000 miles, I'm averaging about 48 mpg. I drove from Chicago to Minneapolis (400 miles) without even stopping for gas once. I LOVE having a sun/moon roof, and I LOVE operating my cellphone and i-pod through the steering wheel. I picked up 3 friends (all over 6 feet tall) with luggage from the airport, and there was leg room and trunk space for everything. I put the back seats down and put my bike in the back when I need to and even worked out putting cross-country skis in the back with only one seat down. I hope you enjoy your CT as much as I do.
