    FRS/BRZ Wheels and Tires

Has anyone put the oem 17" wheels and tires from the Scion FRS/Subaru BRZ on their CT200h? They come wrapped in 225/45/17 Michelins and are cheap on my local craigslist. I have seen them on a Prius but heard those owners had to put 3mm spacers and extended lugs on.

Do you know what the offsets of the BRZ/FRS wheels are. A 3mm spacer would not need extended lug nuts

Correct, the extended lugs are used to overcome the 3mm spacer. I found last night the oem FSR wheel is 17x7 with +48 offset. Looks like I could clear it without any spacer. It'd just be a slightly wider tire (225 from my 215). I may hold off and just go to 18s instead.

3mm is 0.12", that would not need a extended lug nuts. A +48 would put it 3mm closer into the wheel well, the Prius guys might have used the 3mm spacer to take it back to the OEM +45

I had heard that Prius owners have also encountered some rubbing on the calipers without the spacers.
Others have ground down the caliper a bit.
