Cool idea to come up with a name from their plate numbers. Seems like it was destined to be its name. It would be difficult for me to do the same though as I only have numbers.

With my CT, going with something derived from the plate would have led to "VErA". That wasn't going to happen

Cant believe you named one of your car "Ryo Ohki", I would of thought that to be a rare name in the US. I used that exact same name on my old grey RSX. Maybe you had the same idea that Ryo Ohki is a grey colored vehicle? Plus I presume you are a manga fan too?

Using the same concept, I name my old yellow Celica, "Chocobo". Other names I have used in the past were, Asurada for my royal blue EVO VII, Ashura for my sky blue Cougar, Tubie for my navy blue Protege 5, Mickey for my Mazda Speed 3, Luna for my Eclipse, and Goemon for my red Supra. Yes I name every single one of my cars.

Since you seem to be into Japanese and/or manga names, how does Aosora(blue sky) or Cloud(FF7) sound to you? Btw if you dont mind that I used it already, Asurada is a blue racing car from the manga Cyberformula. And yes you guessed it, that is where I got my user name. Both Cyberformula and Initial D are my favorite manga of all time.

I finally decided to name my car Chewie. Referencing chewbacca for the dark brown color of my fire agate. I'm more of a back to the future guy, but someone had to mention star wars!

Waiting on the inspiration for this one. My 2006 Prius was "The Turd". A golf buddy said it looked like someone had a bodily function in the road and painted it red. Name sort ot stuck....or maybe stunk!
