What is the thin slot in the drivers visor?

Instead of searching in the 600 pages in the manual, I'll ask here

What is that thin slot in the drivers visor? (I currently keep my insurance card there)

I think that is exactly what it is for. Driver's License, insurance card, etc. I havent found any other use for it anyways

I keep my parking card for a gated lot there. Very handy. I assume that was what it was for.

Agreed! I'd rather have a functional visor, than the cute little slot.
