Finally!!!!

So I am proud to announce that my CT has FINALLY LANDED!! Picking her up on Friday. Considering that I purchased June 27, I've waited a total 7 months and 7 days. I hope all these 7's are lucky and I won't have any problems.

Is there anything to look for when I go pick up the car that others have had problems with? I've read about door handles coming off, but I understand that has been taken care of for the 2012's?


On a side note, my dealer stated that ALL incoming CT's are spoken for and any new buyers will likely have to wait at least 6 months for the next production run - I'm sure it will be worth the wait!

That's remarkable. In my country, where loooong delivery times were customary until about a month and a half ago, a newly ordered CT200h can now be delivered in three to four months.

Congrat! You finally sold your Evo if I remember? I might be confused with someone else! In Montreal you would have no problem getting a Ct! But yeah base model are harder to find now, dealership are full of premium model wich to be honest is enough! I love my F-Sport but I got that one because I wanted a rare blue one

Thanks!! Evo was gone before christmas! It's a mixed blessing - I was running at nearly 320 WHP (not bhp), but was spending just over $0.20/km! That's $65 / tank, which got me 320 km until I had to refuel... hard to resist the throttle in that car. This time, I am hoping to train myself to be more light footed, considering I won't be going anywhere fast anyways - why bother trying lol.

Love the CT in blue btw! Would look damn sexy with gloss white wheels - if you like to clean, that is :P

I know where you come from I also had a 2008 Evo.......I had a 2010 Prius touring, like the hybrid system and look on the 17 inchs but the Lexus fit me better.....

Yep - base model in OB - wasn't worth the extra 8K for a Nav package and I couldn't care less whether or not I have leather / moon roof. Besides, my iphone's Nav works just fine

Same story for mine (and everyone else it seems)... ordered in June and was told Sept-Oct. Then Dec. Then Jan. Now finally getting it early Feb. I would have cancelled, but this was the only dealership that moved on the price. 2 other dealers told me "the car is in too high demand for us to give discounts". Even after I told them of the price I was offered at rival dealers, I had suggested that since they were my local dealer I would rather go to them if they can come close... my response was "that price doesn't make sense... if you can get it for that price, I suggest you jump on it". So I did.

So in the end, my dealer gave me $1,200 off MRSP and I was forced to wait it out.

MODS MODS MODS MODS - don't give me that disease!! :P Along with the fuel prices, my addiction to mods was another reason I sold my Evo lol. I'd like to at least do some basics - drop her maybe an inch / new rims, tint, HID conversion, LED lighting (plate light, puddle lights, etc). Nothing drastic like a supercharger
