Yep - base model in OB - wasn't worth the extra 8K for a Nav package and I couldn't care less whether or not I have leather / moon roof. Besides, my iphone's Nav works just fine

Same story for mine (and everyone else it seems)... ordered in June and was told Sept-Oct. Then Dec. Then Jan. Now finally getting it early Feb. I would have cancelled, but this was the only dealership that moved on the price. 2 other dealers told me "the car is in too high demand for us to give discounts". Even after I told them of the price I was offered at rival dealers, I had suggested that since they were my local dealer I would rather go to them if they can come close... my response was "that price doesn't make sense... if you can get it for that price, I suggest you jump on it". So I did.

So in the end, my dealer gave me $1,200 off MRSP and I was forced to wait it out.

MODS MODS MODS MODS - don't give me that disease!! :P Along with the fuel prices, my addiction to mods was another reason I sold my Evo lol. I'd like to at least do some basics - drop her maybe an inch / new rims, tint, HID conversion, LED lighting (plate light, puddle lights, etc). Nothing drastic like a supercharger

Ahh I see! Almost the same story for me!
I went with Erin Mills Lexus originally because they were the only ones willing to move on the price, got 1000 off MSRP with them. Everyone else was offering 0 or 2 extra oil changes with approximately the same delivery time.

After they delayed it twice, I got annoyed and cancelled my order. They were pretty understanding and apologized many times.

Then I called up every Lexus in the GTA, no one had one on the lot or a demo, so then I asked about delivery times.

The Lexus dealership my dad bought his from said they could get it to me in a month (but I didn't like them since a douchebag salesman there had lied to me and said he would give me winter mats and my first oil change for free)
I gave them a chance, went back, met with a very nice salesman and got the deal done for the same price, 1000 off MSRP and was in and out in under 30 minutes.


I am planning on doing almost exactly the same mods as you lol!
I've got the LuxuryMods LED kit, tint, 17" F Sport wheels, and F sport grille.
I just need to buy the F Sport lower grille and F Sport lowering springs, then I'll be done modding the car.
(Unless I decide to rig up a tablet in the storage bin where the navigation usually is)

I placed my order on Dec. 29th and picked up my CT on Dec. 31st. I think because they were a new dealership (Lexus Downtown in Toronto) that they had a few CTs on hand. My friend placed her order on Jan. 14th and picked up her CT on Jan. 26th.

The salesperson I dealt with (Scott Drew) was great. If you want a CT, maybe he can get one for you quick. Tell him that Anna referred you. =)

So 3 days with the car and I must say I am enjoying it so far!

I am, as expected, extremely disappointed with milage - but that's likely because I expected way too much... so far averaging 5.7L/100km

wait....if you EXPECTED less-than-good mileage, why are you disappointed (which by definition is getting less than expected)? j/k

Enjoy the new car - whenever you feel "disappointed", look over at the cars around you and know you are getting better mileage than them (unless all you see are Prii around you).

But you are right - every time I feel bad about it, I still remember that it's about as good as I can get, and no better place to get it than a lexus
